No, I didn’t buy a 3D printer. Although that’s still on the list of things to get. Our local library has a Makerbot that they let people print to. I downloaded this from an online 3D model repository and printed it out. The library also has a 3D scanner, which I’m going to use to scan something a week from today. Anyway, here’s the first thing I created from a digital file:
Here are a couple castings of Lirak’s knife in hydrostone. I also did one in white resin. Now I need to do one in clear resin.
I still have a lot to do, but I could actually get back to some crafting or painting now. I’ve still got a bunch of plastic containers full of random stuff, and I still have boxes and containers full of crafting things all jumbled up. Now I need to start figuring out how to ORGANIZE the room:

That’s terrible.
In my defense, we are in the midst of moving to a new house and we’ve been packing, showing, looking and then working on all the things necessary for us to complete both the sale and the purchase.
Our closing is set for June 4, so by this time next month things should be back to normal around here. I hope.
